2004 black and white tobiano gelding, registered with American Warmblood Society, by Juss for the Taste, an imported dutch pinto stallion brother to Art Deco, and out of a Quarter Horse mare. He has some of the best of both, with a manageable size of 15-2 or 15-3 and sturdily-built, approx. 1200 lbs, a wonderful walk with about 12"-plus overstride.
Has been ridden by us (the owners-- both over-50, out of shape and not such good riders) 2 trainers, and a 10 year old girl who took some lessons on him. He is not a dead-head, but a very loving horse who likes attention, isn't hard to catch in the pasture, is easy to work around on the ground, loads, ties, clips, good for farrier, vet, etc. He can be ridden on trails or do well in the dressage ring. He was taken in his first dressage show a few months' ago and did quite well. His trot is easy to sit, and canter is also smooth. He is easy to get on the bit, and is forward. He is not interested in jumping, and although he has been ridden over some 18" to 24" jumps, we do not guarantee he will remain sound if jumped higher and heavily, as he had check ligament surgery as a young foal. The vet report can be obtained, but verbally the vet says he expects him to remain sound due to young age at which he had surgery. Asking $8,000. |

2007 tobiano bay pinto colt, KWPN Register B, by Everij A out of Whisperlina, imported from the Netherlands while in foal (damsire Flemmingh keur pref, and out of Oberlina sport-dresseur, a wonderfully strong damline with both jumping and dressage stars in it--see pedigree)
Constantijn has the breeding, presence, conformation and athleticisim to be a world-class jumper someday, but also quite nice movement if dressage is your interest. He will mature well-over 17 hands, being over 15-2 at 10 months' and growing so fast you can almost hear it! He is sweet to handle on the ground; ties, clips, leads, loads, good for farrier, and learns fast. He is being lunged occasionally and likes to please and be loved on. He will be shown this year at the Region 9 breed shows at Proud Meadows in June and August. Get that eye-popping color AND that breed quality! Asking $14,000. Would be a GREAT AWS stallion prospect, and we will be having him inspected with them asap. |
